So it is Groundhog Day. I reckon the little rat predicts six more weeks of winter. But, it is also the name of a great movie. Perhaps one of the strangest movies to think about in terms of travel. It effectively isolates the inner journey from the outer journey. It was only through stasis that the main character is able to change himself. Easily one of the greatest scripts ever devised, and acted by one of the cleverest performers we’ve got. It is a true cinematic underdog, never really getting its fair shake in a lot of circles. If you haven’t seen it, see it.
